Designed for easy use on the move, the TMR880i's control unit has wide, clearly separated number keys and a large high-resolution colour screen with distinctive graphical menu elements. The vehicle-mounted TMR880i introduces a separate detachable control unit, placing control of the radio conveniently at the user's fingertips.

The integrated GPS receiver helps to improve the speed and efficiency of an organisation's operations. The ETSI Location Interface Protocol is supported, allowing position sending either automatically or at specified triggers such as time or distance. The radio can be programmed to send its position information during an emergency call, helping dispatchers to get aid quickly to the incident scene. And the user-friendly Waypoint guidance application shows the direction and distance to a set destination stored as a waypoint in the radio memory.

Thanks to its advanced PEI interface and the versatile I/O lines, the TMR880i radio can be integrated into - and controlled by - an external device or application.

TGR990 can operate in three modes: in addition to a normal TETRA radio, it can be used as a gateway between Trunked Mode Operation (TMO) and Direct Mode Operation (DMO) or as a DMO repeater for extended coverage. Users can easily change the mode via a one-touch shortcut key.

The TGR990 combines a radio transceiver and control unit in a compact device that fits into a vehicle's DIN slot. It adapts easily to different types of vehicles with different installation requirements, thanks to the availability of alternative mounting kits. When the radio needs to be operated from two different places, a parallel second control unit can be connected to the radio.
